Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones

I read Attack of Clones by R.A. Salvatore. It is a Star Wars book based off of the second movie (the fifth movie made). It, like the first book, follows the story plot of the movie but goes into more detail. Basically, if you like the movies your gonna like the book. Also, during the movie some parts confused me but after reading the book they all make sense. Reading the book helped me to see things from a different view because in a book you know the character's thoughts while in a movie you usually do not. The movie starts off with an assasination attempt on Senator Amidalla's life. It fails and as a result two jedi, Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobe are assigned to guard her. When another attempt is made the jedi track down the bounty hunter and trace it all the way back to a planet called Geonosis. On Geonosis, the confederate army mostley made up of droids are a having a meeting at one of their factories. The two jedi and Padme get captured and are put into a colleseum where they are pitted agains fierce animals. They kill the animals but then all the people in the colleseum are about to attack, when back up arrives. The Republic with their new clone army and a bunch of other jedi all attack and save the day. They chase Count Dooku but he manages to escape. Then back on Courescaunt Yoda says, "Master Obi-Wan not victory. The shroud of the dark side has fallen. Begun, this Clone War has!"
